La Ciucarina

In the centre of Camagna Monferrato, in the UNESCO territory of the Infernot, La Ciucarina is a Cantoni-stone house with a private panoramic terrace and an original infernot carved into the tuff. It rises vertically across several levels, like the traditional houses of the village: red-brick vaulted ceilings, stone stairs, thick walls, and thoroughly contemporary comfort with three renovated bathrooms and a new kitchen.

The living area, on the main floor, has an intimate living room with fireplace and exposed stone, and a fully equipped kitchen that opens onto the terrace with views over the hills and, on clear days, the Alpine arc. Up the stone stairs are two double bedrooms, one beneath the brick vaults and one in the attic among exposed beams, both air-conditioned and en-suite.

On the lower level, the tuff cellar with bar counter, large convivial table and original infernot: the most characterful space in the house, naturally cool all year. On request we arrange private tastings, Monferrato cooking classes, dinners with a chef in the cellar and walks through the countryside.
